The GIF file format supports 1bit transparency which is also supported by Artweaver when saving a document into the GIF format.

To set GIF transparency please perform the following steps

• 1. Open or create a document which should be saved as GIF file

• 2. Save the document and choose GIF as type in the Save dialog
• 3. Select the Transparency option in the GIF Options dialog and choose a color which should be transparent

• 4. Click on OK to create the GIF file with transparency
