How to add special characters as text?

You can add special characters (like ©) which cannot be typed on the keyboard to existing text layers or as a new text layer by using the text tool editor.

To add special characters please perform the following steps

• 1. Select an existing text layer which should be changed or select a layer where the new text layer should be created on top
• 2. Select the Text tool
• 3. Click on the Editor button on the Tool property bar

• 4. Insert the special characters (for example from the clipboard) in the text editor

• 5. Click on OK to apply the changes
